CCP Jian, The main beef here is:
LACK OF SOME ******* INFORMATION BEFORE YOU **** US OVER, OR AT LEAST LOOK LIKE YOU ARE ABOUT TO **** US OVER!!!

We get into athe game, find that COMMS do NOT work. See that we can BUY comms. What is the most obvious conclusion going to be? "Lets wait and see what CCP says whenever they are going to?" hardly. It's going to be a "WTF ??? ?**** **** * * ***** * * * *** * * **** * * ** * **!" rage thread. And with good reason.
Still, the whole idea is fundamentally flawed, and the prices are outright idiotic. |

I DID see there were a Push to talk. IT DID NOT WORK
I DID look at settings, and saw everything were ON. Comms DID NOT WORK
COMMS DO STILL NOT WORK!
So a system error (which it must be, as others can use it) is ME misunderstanding things?

VC was team. 2 others had Voice Icons.
mine had a red x in it, as if I were muted, which I were not. So what was I to think, other than CCP wanting us to PAY, remember, they said nothing about this till this morning, AFTER people were upset. |

if none of these help, im sorry bud, your very unfortunate. As debacle has said, comms have been flawless for me. There must be something simple that you overlooked. remember, check if you are on squad or team channels.
you'll know if its working cause youll see the mic symbol with it lighting up green if its picking up your voice.
oh, check bluetooth volumes.
I'm using my USB headset. I've had far too many problems with the Bluetooth headset on DUST for it to be even considered an option any longer. |
